St. Petersburg, Russia–Luxury brand Montblanc continues to show its support for the arts and education through a variety of initiatives.

On June 26, with a flurry of VIP guests in attendance, including actress and Montblanc brand ambassador Eva Green, supermodel Naomi Campbell, artist Jeff Koon and pianist and Montblanc Cultural Foundation chairman Lang Lang, Montblanc celebrated its "Montblanc New Voices" award for the promotion of talented young opera singers.

UNICEF – Policy advocacy and partnerships for children’s rights – Montblanc pledges 1.5 million dollars for education programmes

NEW YORK, USA, 1 June 2009 – Montblanc has announced the launch of their ‘Signature for Good’ collection – a range of special edition products which will raise 1.5 million dollars for UNICEF’s education and literacy programmes for children worldwide. Earlier this year, Montblanc hosted a high profile charity gala in Hollywood with the cooperation of artistic initiative ‘Signature International’ to announce the collection.

Montblanc to Auction Celeb Portraits for Charity

Montblanc, makers of fine pens with the famed "snow cap" motif (above), will auction off a series of celebrity portraits to benefit UNICEF in September. On Friday, May 8, they’re hosting a benefit at Sotheby’s in New York to announce the World Exhibition Tour of the photo project honoring the involvement of 12 great actresses and their efforts to "support UNICEF’s fight against inadequate education and illiteracy".

Keeping the ever-present link between celebrities and charity alive, stars like Reese Witherspoon, Sienna Miller, and Eva Longoria were spotted at the Montblanc Signature For Good charity event in Hollywood, California last night (February 20).

Miss Witherspoon (who could be getting engaged to Jake Gyllenhaal soon) looked absolutely fabulous in a strapless black frilly dress with matching peep-toe heels.

Meanwhile Sienna Miller also went the strapless route with her iridescent red gown, and Eva Longoria sported a notched-neckline brown floor-length dress.

UNICEF raised a record-breaking $2.6 million at its third annual Snowflake Ball, presented by Baccarat, at Cipriani 42nd St in New York City on November 28.  Almost 800 guests attended the black-tie gala which honored Amy Robbins and Bjorn Ljungqvist with The Audrey Hepburn Humanitarian Award. The award was presented by Sean Hepburn Ferrer, son of UNICEF’s legendary Ambassador Audrey Hepburn.  Hosted by Bryant Gumbel, the gala concluded with a performance by UNICEF Ambassador and Grammy award winner, India Arie.
